Whitby
Tennis Club has a strong junior programme for ages 6 to 17.
Coaching sessions are available for all registered junior players. These take place every Monday during
school Term 4 2012 and Term 1 2013, weather permitting. Phone Whitby Tennis Club 234 7239 for any cancellations.
Coaching is by a Professional Coach – Mark Flannery
and his assistant coach(es). Mark is also available for one–on–one
coaching at Whitby Tennis Club. Mark may be contacted directly on 027 329 9071.
The
sessions times for junior coaching are;

3:30pm to 4:15pm (6 yrs to 8 yrs)
·
4:15pm to 5:00pm (9 yrs to 12 yrs)
·
5:00pm to 6:00pm (12 yrs to 14 yrs)
·
6:00pm to 7:15pm (14 yrs to 17 yrs)
All Junior Interclub grades run from late October to early December 2012 with a break for the Christmas holidays, recommencing
at the start of Term 1 2013. All grades play on Saturday mornings, with the exception of the Novice grade which plays on Sunday
mornings.
The
Whitby Tennis Club team lists, draws, and junior handbook for the 2012/13 Pre
Christmas interclub season will be provided below when they become available;

the 2012/13 season, as well as upcoming junior tournaments.
A parent and child tournament will be held in
December 2012, and Junior Club Championships will be held toward the end of Term 1 2013. All junior club
members will be able to participate in these fun events.
Junior Club members can register at any time. New members are always very welcome.
We
have been very fortunate to receive a grant from Mana Community Grants Foundation
that lets us subsidise our professional coaching this year.
